We start with a panoramic drive along the north coast to the ‘Fatima’ chapel. Afterwards, you will feel the adrenalin rush on a speedboat ride across the bay of Chaves towards the sand dunes of Morro d'Areia. Of course, we take the weather conditions into consideration and reduce the speed if the wind or waves require it. It is important to us that you enjoy your time on board with us. We now cruise leisurely along the coast towards the offshore island (Djeu). Enjoy the marvellous views. On Djeu we have enough time to explore the fort and take a relaxing swim in the sea (swimming guaranteed).

The tour does not take place during the whale watching season.

Our Zodiac ‘Ocean Blue’ is a new modern boat with a length of 10 metres and 2 x 150 HP. There is seating for a total of 14 guests + crew. It is perfectly suited for travelling on the open sea as well as along the coast. Due to the design of the boat, ‘rolling’ is almost non-existent. It is calm and stable in the sea, even in swell.

What awaits you at the Panorama Cruise

Welcome at our Zodiac "Ocean Blue"

First you get your transfer to Sal Rei in the harbor, where your crew is already waiting for you. You board our Zodiac "Ocean Blue" by rubber dinghy or directly at the pier.

After a short briefing, you are ready to set off.


Speedboat cruise

After a short tour of the harbor, we head across the bay of Chaves towards the sand dunes of Morro d'Areia. A bit of fun is a must, so we turn up the engines for you here. The boat is safe and calm in the sea, so don't worry.

We then cruise comfortably close to the coast and you can enjoy the wonderful view.


Bathing on the offshore island of "Djeu"

We reach the small island of "Ilheu de Sal Rei" ("Djeu") You can easily get off the boat via the ladder on the bow of the "Ocean Blue".

Take a look at the old fort on the island and enjoy a long swim in the sea. Swimming is guaranteed here on the island - there are no big waves and no dangerous currents.

 

We have snorkel masks at the boat, so you can also snorkel from the beach.


Return trip to the port

Now it's a direct route back to the harbor, where the cab is already waiting for you to take you back to your accommodation.


Licenses of our boats "Simply No Stress" & "Blue Fever" & "Ocean Blue"

Various boat tours with "locals" are now offered on Boa Vista. Please make sure that the tour offered to you is conducted with a licensed boat. There are very few boats here on Boa Vista that actually have the necessary licenses and therefore also the appropriate insurance and safety equipment.

Our "Ocean Blue"

The "Ocean Blue" is a Zodiac built in 2023 according to our wishes with an aluminum hull. It has a total of 14 seats for guests + 2 for the crew. It is 10 meters long and has 2 x 150 hp Mercury engines. Due to its design, it is very quiet in the water.


If you are not sure about your seaworthiness, we recommend taking a travel tablet beforehand.
