Snorkelling at 2 different spots
Boavista is not known as a top snorkeling destination. Nevertheless, there are a few snorkeling spots that are worth a snorkeling stop.
Our Zodiac will take us to two different spots on the west coast of Boavista.
First, you will be taken by cab to Sal Rei in the harbor.
Boarding the Zodiac takes place either directly at the pier or by rubber dinghy.
The first destination is a shipwreck not far from the beach. This is a Brazilian coal ship that ran aground on the "English Reef" in 1923 and was so badly damaged that it was able to get
relatively close to the coast, but sank there.
The second destination is the reef off the offshore island.
If there is still time after snorkeling, we will visit the offshore island.
The minimum age for tours with the Zodiac is 6 years. However, this tour is only suitable for children if they can already swim relatively safely.

Licenses for our boats "Simply No Stress", "Blue Fever" & "Ocean Blue"
Various boat tours with "locals" are now offered on Boa Vista. Please make sure that the tour offered to you is conducted with a licensed boat. There are very few boats here on Boa Vista that actually have the necessary licenses and therefore also the appropriate insurance and safety equipment.
Our Zodiac "Ocean Blue"
The "Ocean Blue" is a Zodiac built in 2023 according to our wishes with an aluminum hull. It has a total of 14 seats for guests + 2 for the crew. It is 10 meters long and has 2 x 150 hp Mercury engines. Due to its design, it is very quiet in the water.
If you are not sure about your seaworthiness, we recommend taking a travel tablet
beforehand.
